Bedside Book Review

I have been slacking on reading lately. I can name my excuses but that isn't going to change anything. My goal for the year is to read 12 real books, as in not on the kindle. I have accomplished reading 1 and working on the second slowly. Yes I know there are still 8 months left in the year. With a baby on the way reading isn't always easy or a top priority. It is so much easier to read on my kindle or phone even though I prefer to read a book I can feel.

When Life Gives You Lululemons by Lauren Weisberger

A fun, fast, read that keeps you hooked. There were lots of twists and turns of the stories, many not expected. When Life Gives You Lululemons is a follow up to When the Devil Wears Prada, life for Emily after leaving New York City. I never read When the Devil Wears Prada I've only seen the movie. I love that you dont have to know anything about the previous book to really enjoy this book. There is great drama, well descriptive, and shows real friendship.

Baby Daddy by Kendall Ryan

Fun, sexy, adult read. Two career driven adults get stuck in an elevator together and agreed to make a baby with no strings attached. With twist and turns, do things work out as they originally planned or does a romance get stuck in the middle. I loved the book and read it two days, I just couldn't put it down.

  3. i love reading physical books but there's no denying ebooks are so much easier and more convenient. plus i read a lot of romance and they are much easier and cheaper to get a hold of in ebook format. but i am also trying to make an effort to read actual books, i don't know why it's harder to 'find' the time to read a physical book over an ebook? probably the portability of the ebook, who knows. it's been years since i've read the devil wears prada, though it's probably one of the only times i preferred the movie over the book so i'd say you're not missing much :) i'll have to give that one a go!
