My days may be long but the weeks are short. Time really flies when running on little sleep. It is part of the joys of being a new mom with two other kids and exclusively breastfeeding. My little princess is officially one month old. I am in denial. Audrianna can stop growing up so fast already. Knowing that she is my last kid is sad to see everything going by so fast in a blur. Trying to enjoy, cherish, make memories, and remember all the little things.
Audrianna Rose is growing so fast. She is already over 7 lbs, she started 6 lbs 1 oz, then had dropped down to 5 lbs 8 ozs. We go to the doctor next week for her month appointment. I feel like she has grown so much already. (Picture on the left is 5 days old, right 4 weeks)
So far Audrianna is loving bath time, besides her first bath.
She is still so small and fitting in newborn clothes and diapers.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Going 4 weeks strong. It is not easy. At times I cry from lack of sleep, pain, her eating constantly, etc. But I am determined to continue. I am also using a haaka and pumping occassionally to get some milk stashed in the freezer. She eats anywhere from every hour to every 3 hours.
Audrianna loves tummy time. She will lay there for a good half an hour happy as can be.
She is still loved by her brother and sister. They ask numerous times a day to hold her. Austin is getting better at not "dropping" her anytime she screams. Aubriella is awesome with her. She is a little mommy, but gives me a heart attack when she changes the position she is holding her.
For the past two weeks I have been dealing with Audrianna's "witching hours" most nights. Starting usually around 6 - 6:30pm Audrianna eats, screams, poops, screams some more. I am hoping she grows out of this soon.
Our lives are full of cuddles, snuggles, love, kisses, joy, and happiness. We are so blessed and thankful for a healthy, usually happy baby. Time is going to continue flying and we are ready for all the fun that comes along with this little princess.
