Let's Run

Who loves to run? I have always wanted to be a runner but never properly started training. I would just put on running shoes and hit the pavement. I would be out of breath in 30 seconds, my shines would start to hurt and that would be the end of my running. So I have developed a pretty deep hatred for it over the years even though for whatever reason I really wanted to be a runner. Maybe it’s the fresh air, maybe it’s the sun shining on my face, or maybe it’s the alone focus time. I never had the proper "tools" to go out and start running.

Recently Beachbody announced the newest workout program on BOD called 30 Day Breakaway!! This is a 30 day hybrid program of both strength training and running (guided with cues & tempos the entire time) to build up your stamina and strength. This program launches TODAY and I’m most excited about shifting my mindset around running, breaking through another roadblock and breathing in all the fresh October air! ⁣

And the best part?!?

My 9 year old daughter Ella is doing it with me!! (OMG I have a 9 year old, her birthday was Friday) 




⁣This program is not just for novice runners either. If you are a seasoned runner and have a goal to increase your race times, this program will help you do that too. Side Note"

I feel like people have very strong feelings about running - they usually either love it or hate it. So make sure to run your own race - if you want to walk and speed walk, awesome. If you want to run and jog - great! Listen to your body and as long as you are outside enjoying the day, it is a win! You have to start somewhere to work towards your own personal goals. Don't compare your start to someone else's.
