Early morning

I am up. It is 430 in the morning. I am determined to get back into the routine of waking up before the house, and getting some time for me alone. Connecting into my devotionals, getting an un uninterrupted workout done, enjoy the quiet, check on my blog, word on my coaching business and tie up other lose ends. It sounds like a lot. It may sound crazy to wake up so early. But I feel so much more accomplished and energized when I do. My mommy brain needs them time for me.

Our days have gotten busier. Ella is back in school 2 days a week. On those two days I am in the car 3-5 times a day depending if Ella goes to her dads and if she has reading at the library. I listen to podcasts instead of music most of the time, or talk with my kids. This also helps me mentally.

Yesterday was the evening that Brian had been home uninterrupted in over a week. From working to football his schedule has been busy. It was a nice change for him being home helping with the kids and stuff around the house.

I am very thankful that Brian allows me the time to get a workout done for myself usually before dinner if I was unable to get it done earlier in the day. Night workouts are not my thing, they keep me up longer and I have less energy.

I have switched up my eating to the portion control containers and eating a lot for veggies than I use to, and a lot less junk and sugar. I have noticed I have had more energy, less headaches, and don't have that afternoon need for a pick me up. Its crazy what food can do.

I really just seem to be rambling while I wait for my preworkout to kick in. Lets make it a great day.

  1. 4:30? That is early, but I get it. I'm up at 5, but still wish I had more time. I don't understand how some people can get so much done. I get up at 5 to work out, then feel like I don't stop until I go to bed! I hope you have a great day!

    1. The first 30 minutes is really getting me out of bed, getting dressed, my preworkout and getting downstairs.
