Beer Cheese Pork Sandwiches

  • 2 lb pork butt
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 box of beef stock
  • 1 bottle of beer (I used Labatt Blue Light)
  • 4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  1. In a slow cooker add pork. Season with salt and pepper. Add beef stock.
  2. Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours. 
  3. Remove pork from slow cooker. Discard any juices in slow cooker. Shred pork and add back to slow cooker. Add beer, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic and cheese. Mix well.
  4. Cook an additional 30 minutes on high.
  5. Serve
