English Muffin Bread
Ingredients:
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 2 Tbsp yeast
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 1/2 cups warm milk
Directions:
- Mix yeast, honey, and water together in large a bowl. Set aside.
- In another bowl stir salt, flour, and baking soda.
- Add milk and one cup of flour mixture to yeast bowl. Blend well.
- Blend in the rest of the flour mixture.
- Spoon the dough into 2 prepared bread pans. (spray pans with cooking spray)
- Set bread pans aside. Batter will rise double the size. This may take 30 to 45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Cool
- Slice
- Serve
