English Muffin Bread
  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 Tbsp yeast
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2 1/2 cups warm milk

  1. Mix yeast, honey, and water together in large a bowl. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl stir salt, flour, and baking soda. 
  3. Add milk and one cup of flour mixture to yeast bowl. Blend well.
  4. Blend in the rest of the flour mixture. 
  5. Spoon the dough into 2 prepared bread pans. (spray pans with cooking spray)
  6. Set bread pans aside. Batter will rise double the size. This may take 30 to 45 minutes. 
  7. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Cool
  10. Slice
  11. Serve
  12. Enjoy!!!
