Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- salt/pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 16oz tomato sauce
- 3 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- 2 TBSP organic maple syrup
- 1 shot of Bourbon
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions:
- In a large skillet, brown ground meat.
- Add onion and saute for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
- Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Stir in tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and maple syrup. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat for 10 minutes.
- Add shredded cheese. Stir until melted.
- Serve on a hamburger bun.
