Homemade Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup butter, unsalted
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- pepper to taste
Directions:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Whisk in heavy cream. Bring to a slow simmer, do NOT boil. cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- 1/2 cup at a time whisk in cheese. Stirring consistently.
- Stir in lemon juice and pepper to taste.
- Serve over your favorite pasta, or zoodles.
- Enjoy!!!
