 Chocolate Chip Scone


  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold cut into pea size
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  3. Mix in butter until resembles crumbs. Use either a pastry blender or mixer.
  4. Add milk and vanilla.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Place the dough on parchment paper. Pat into an large circle. Slice dough into 8 triangles. 
  7. Arrange on baking sheet 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake 15-18 minutes until tops and edges are golden brown.
  9. Let cool.
  10. Serve
