Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork


  • 3 lb pork shoulder or butt
  • 1 large onion, cut into 4 pieces
  • 2 cans of coke
  • 1 bottle of BBQ sauce of your choice
  • buns if your making sandwiches


  1. In slow cooker, place pork and onion. 
  2. Pour coke over meat and onion. 
  3. Cook on HIGH (yes i said high) for 8 to 10 hours. 
  4. Remove all the meat from slow cooker. Dump all liquid and onions. Place meat back in slow cooker and shred with two forks (or use Kitchenaid to shred)
  5. Stir in BBQ sauce.
  6. Serve.
  7. Enjoy!!!
