Blueberry Scone


  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice 
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • lemon zest


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
    1. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, and baking powder.
    2. Mix in butter until resembles crumbs. Use either a pastry blender or mixer.
    3. Add milk and lemon juice.
    4. Fold in chocolate blurberries.
    5. Place the dough on parchment paper. Pat into an large circle. Slice dough into 8 triangles. 
    6. Arrange on baking sheet 2 inches apart.
    7. Bake 15-18 minutes until tops and edges are golden brown.
    8. Let cool.
    9. Mix powdered sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest together. Drizzle over scone.
    10. Serve
