Mid Year Goals

Hey loves. Can you believe we are over halfway through 2022. I hope this year is going better for you than the past two years. For our family this year has been a lot better, from seeing more family, making new friends, having quality time together, buying a new house, etc.

Before we even get into looking at what goals I set for myself at the beginning of the year, I want to share how I am currently feeling overall. Plus what I have accomplished/achieved. Then we will dive into my goals for 2022 and update of my goals.

Currently:

Right now I feel stuck in a rut. Things haven't been going as planned. I don't feel like my best self which I know I can be. So far this summer we haven't had any sort of schedule beyond when Anna goes to summer camp and Austin goes to speech therapy. Everything else has been whenever, where ever. No set bedtimes meaning way to late, no specific wake ups which means all over the place. Way to much electronics which also means attitude when they want more or we take it away. I haven't been consistent with working out and eating foods that don't agree with me. Even this month I haven't been reading much, spending way to much time scrolling social media

What I have accomplished/achieved:

Health:

  • Completed Job 1 workout program 2x
  • Completed 4 weeks for everybody workout program
  • Completed Gut Protocol nutrition program to determine what foods I have an intolerance to.
  • Got a myx bike.
  • lost and kept off 10 pounds.
  • wearing a smaller size pants
  • better at drinking half my body weight in water, doesn't happen every day but more days that not.
  • better at eating more veggies

Reading: So far this year I have read 45 books. My goal is 70 so I am doing good.

Family: Date nights with Brian, one on one time with Austin and Ella.

Blog: I got my first "huge" for me collaboration. Got a bunch of mini collaborations that don't require blog posts.

Review

Review 2022 Goals:

Health- I am doing great on eating all the veggies. My go to snack is mini cucumbers. The last few weeks I have been sticking my hand in to many chip bags.

Reading- I need to get back into personal development, not consistent on any devotionals, still working towards my goal of 70 books this year.

Family- we need to do more game nights, still need to schedule dr appts, and myself to a new dr. The kids are starting to get more responsibility.

Relationship- I have only had 2 friends date all year. maybe I need new friends. Brian and I are doing good on our date nights.
