What's Up Wednesday

Hey loves. How is it already the last Wednesday of July? It is crazy harsh reality that my kids go back to school in four weeks and I know a lot of other schools go back sooner. We are still over here enjoying summer and making the best out of it.

It's that time for Whats Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of July here's whats up...

~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~

Monday- Grilled chicken asparagus and potatoes
Tuesday- Shrimp Tacos
Wednesday- Burgers and corn on the cob with potatoes
Thursday- Homemade chicken alfredo with zoodles and pasta for the kids
Friday- Local take out
Saturday- Homemade pizza

~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

This feels like more than 3 years ago. They have all grown so much. Ella would have been 7 in this picture, how is she 10 already and Austin is now 7.

Brian use to be an auxiliary Police Officer. One of his favorite events was the 4th of July fireworks. 5 years ago was the first time I took Ella and she saw him working in uniform and we saw the best fireworks ever. (Besides being at Disney World.)

Speaking of Brian being an auxiliary officer and the 4th of July. 3 years ago we got to ride in the police vehicle in the parade. (the vehicle is parked here)

Last year we went camping for the first time, just Brian, Austin, Anna, and myself. Well my sister and her daughter were there too. It was fun but boy did my back feel it afterwards from sleeping on an air mattress that deflated. The kids keep asking to go again, this year will just be in our backyard.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~

The few family walks we have taken this month.

Baby deer bring us so much happiness. Whenever we see them we are all at the window looking out.

This month we have seen at least 4 rainbows.

I got a myx spin bike. So far I am loving it.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

We got 4 trees cut down.

The deer and babies come to visit often.

Brian and I celebrated my birthday with a date night to Yard House.

Lots of time outside and playing in the pool.

Oh look new windows. They were much needed, the windows in the back we were unable to even look out of the seal on them went and they were foggy.

Austin and Brian had their finished the season of t-ball with Brian as one of the coached.

This is a little girl who no longer is breastfed. We went a full 3 years and stopped cold turkey the day she turned 3.

Happy 3rd Birthday Audrianna.

Happy 7th Birthday Austin

There has also been lots of time spent at parks.

~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~

Getting my kids back on a schedule for all our sanity and preparing for back to school.

~ WHAT I AM WORKING ON ~

Mentoring and encouraging the women in the summer shape up group for their health and fitness, while recommitting to myself. I was in a slump and needed to make a change for the better. I am a few days back into working out, eating to fuel my body (with the occasional snack), all the water, and making time for me. I am feeling more like myself again.

~ WHAT I AM EXCITED ABOUT ~

Cedar Point are in our plans, just don't know exactly when. Plus the zoo, a deer petting zoo, and a mini road trip.

  1. We haven't seen any rainbows in the longest time... which makes since since we haven't had rain in a long time either. I miss them though (and the rain too). How neat to keep seeing baby deer in the yard!
