Whats Up Wednesday - September

Hey loves. Another month is coming to an end. Fall is in full swing and so much exciting stuff happening in the next few months. (yes I maybe talking about Christmas but also Halloween and Thanksgivings too)

This week has been crazy. Brian and I went away last weekend leaving Anna for the first time with my parents. We had a great time, she did awesome, but since we have been home she had been attached to my hip and won't let me get much done.

It's that time for Whats Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of September here's whats up...

~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~

Monday - Freezer pumpkin chili and mac and cheese

Tuesday - fritos taco in a bowl

Wednesday - Sweet Potato, Sausage Skillet

Thursday - Leftovers

Friday - Freezer Soup

Saturday - Ella's birthday party pizza

~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

8 years ago is the first time Brian and I went on vacation together and it was to Disney World and I have been hooked ever since. We use to do our vacations in September when Disney was slower and the kids were not in school yet.

6 years ago the first time we took just Ella to Disney, Austin stayed home with my in-laws for the week. We had a blast and stayed at the Polynesian.

Hard to believe how much she has changed. Audrianna still had crazy hair but it is lighter brown and now curly.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~

I am getting some of my smell back since losing it last Christmas. I can smell all my pumpkin candles, one of my favorite is the vanilla pumpkin from Trader Joes.

My friend Jaclyn over at Coffee Pancakes and Dreams has released a book. Question A Day Journal. I love that it really makes you thing. The book was just released yesterday so go get your hands on a copy.

I am loving the way my foyer looks all decorate for Fall and Halloween.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

Ella caught a toad outside and has been keeping it as a pet the last few weeks. He lives in a box in the garage and she waters him and catches him crickets.

Anna and her napping in the weirdest places. On the stairs, and on the top of the stairs in the hallway have been her two favorite spots.

We all went to the Asian Lantern Festival at the Cleveland Zoo. It was a lot of fun.

I completed another round of my favorite workout program. 5 days a week 20 minutes a day.

I like getting the badges.

Austin started soccer.

The kids had fun at a touch a truck event.

Anna has started the puppy look with her lip out and hangs clasped at her face and saying please. I have no idea where she learned this but how do you say no to this face.

Brian and I had a weekend away down in Columbus without kids for the first time in 4 years.

We had a lot of fun and attended the Ohio State Football game.

  1. We used to go to Disney in September too and I always say it was the best time to visit; though we had a really amazing time one year going the week before everyone else's Feb. vacation. I used to sleep in really weird places too, according to my family-- often right at the top of the stairs (I think I just wanted to hear what everyone was saying).
