Friday Favorites Spring Break Edition

Hey loves. Happy Friday. It has been a crazy week. My kids have been off on Spring Break, another child came down with strep throat, lots of fun, hot weather, and a very long doctors appointment. I am ready for next week and to relax. Let's hope I didn't just jinx myself. I say that as I just looked at my schedule, baseball practice for Austin starts tomorrow, and Ella has two more doctors appointments next week.

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

We successfully had a visit to see the Easter bunny. This was Anna's first time meeting him. The last time Austin went he was 1 and screamed. It was a cute event at the American Legion with coloring, crafts, games, food and the kids got little Easter baskets.

~ TWO ~

My parent's hosted Easter on Saturday for her siblings. There was suppose to be 26, only 18 were able to make it. This was the first time in  years since we have all gotten together. It was nice to see everyone, the weather was decent so the kids were outside and didn't feel to cramped.

~ THREE ~

Easter morning we had our family Easter egg hunt, search for baskets, quick breakfast and headed to church. After church we hosted a full egg hunt with some friends followed by dinner with Brian's family and my parents and sister. It turned out to be a wonderful day.

~ FOUR ~

The weather has been gorgeous all week with temps above 50 into the 80s. We have spent a lot of time outside. Even just sitting out on the front porch doing some reading.

~ FIVE ~

Our Spring Break mini trip. We drove down to Columbus to go to Columbus Zoo. We had a blast. One of the kids favorite parts was touching the sting rays. The kids asked to go back before we left.

~ SIX ~

Austin's favorite thing about the zoo was all the turtles. There was at least 20 turtles throughout the zoo, probably more. He is currently obsessed with turtles and keeps asking for a pet turtle.

~ SEVEN ~

The kids and I grabbed McDonalds then headed to eat at the lake. (the beach was down below but I knew that they would end up the water and I didn't bring towels or extra clothes and the thought of the sand in my car already)

~ EIGHT ~

After lunch we went to the playground. I love this playground that there is stuff for all ages. There is also only one gated entrance. I am not worrying about one of them running off while I am chasing the other one.
