 Slow Cooker Swedish Meatball

Ingredients:

Meatballs

  • 2 slices of bread, I used sourdough bread
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 medium onion, grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • salt/pepper
Sauce: 
  • 1 1/4 cup beef brother
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp corn starch
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestireshire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • salt/pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil. 
  2. Cut up bread into pieces and place in a food processor. Process into fine crumbs. 
  3. In a bowl combine breadcrumbs and water and let sit for a few minnutes. 
  4. Mix the bread and the rest of the meatball ingredients. 
  5. Shape meat mixture into 1.5 inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes. until no longer pink in the middle.
  7. Once cooked add to slow cooker.
  8. In a bowl stir together sauce ingredients. 
  9. Pour over meatballs.
  10. Cook in slow cooker on low for 4 to 5 hours.
  11. Serve!
