What's Up Wednesday June Edition

Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. Tomorrow is my 38th birthday, we also have my father in laws burial tomorrow morning and his celebration of life this weekend. So much going on this week.

It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of June here's what's up...

~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~

This is very unlike me but we are winging it with dinners this week. I quickly made a grocery pick up order, we have food in the house it will all be determined by what we are doing that night. All 6 of Brian's siblings are in town this week for his dad's celebration of life, it is my birthday week, and who knows what else will come up.

~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

Let me introduce you to the 8th dwarf, Snuggly Dwarf who was officially named by Snow White herself. While we were at Disney World earlier this month Anna was very huggy with Snow White it just melts your heart. (She was the same with Daisy Duck too)

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~

We have one baby deer in our neighborhood. She is just so precious and brings me so much joy. Yesterday she stayed in the woods next to our house all day hiding from the rain. She was in clear sight from our side windows.

My girls are loving Scenties. Scented hair ties. Get 15% off your order but using this direct link

All three of my kids requested to go to the library, picked out a few books, and played together for a little while.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

Before school was out I had the opportunity to be a chaperone on Austin's class field trip to the zoo. It was so much fun seeing him with his classmates.

Austin is playing coach pitch baseball. He has days he loves it and days he is over it. Each kid gets to try being catcher, which really means they wear the pads and just stand or kneel there. They don't catch or move much. The gear is old and barely stays on.

We got seasons passes to Cedar Point this year. We went one random night with the littles. We are actually going back today and have another trip planned for just Ella and I when she gets back from vacation with her dad.

It is officially summer. They all had their last day of school. (even though Austin still has summer school)

The kids got out of school Wednesday, Thursday we hit the road to Florida and Disney World.

So much fun and so many memories. The kids are already asking to go back again.

The weather on vacation was in the 90s, feels like above 100s. Perfect for swimming everyday which we did do. Then we came home to temps in the 70s and we are freezing.

Since coming home from vacation I have been off on my meal planning and schedules. Mac and cheese at the ballfield sometimes just happens.

We celebrated my niece, Lauren turning 3. It was a princess themed party.

~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~

Ella is going on vacation with her dad and step mom. She leaves tomorrow night and I don't get her back until July 10, so she will be gone 12 days. I am not only going to miss her but also dreading the attitude that she always comes home with.

~ WHAT I AM WORKING ON ~

Working on me, getting back to a good healthy active schedule and routine for me and my family for summer.

~ WHAT I AM EXCITED ABOUT ~

Two of my kids birthdays next month

~ WHAT I AM WATCHING ~

I have started watching a few Hallmark movies that I recorded back in April.

~ FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH ~

Our dishwasher sprang a leak while we were on vacation. Thankfully Brian's uncle was house sitting and found out kitchen flooded and was able to turn the water off to the dishwasher. We haven't gotten around it having it looked at yet. I ended up purchasing a dish drying rack that we had been talking about getting for a while. This makes me feel old as my favorite purchase from Amazon for the month.

~ WHAT WE ARE DOING THIS WEEKEND ~

We are having the Celebration of Life for Brian's dad who passed away this past January. We came up with a date that all 7 siblings would be able to be home for it.

~ WHAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH ~

4th of July, Ella coming home, lots of time outside with the kids, not big plans or schedules and enjoying summer.

  2. Happy birthday! Disney sounds wonderful-- and hot. We have been having a whole summer with temps in the 70's; even on vacation I think the hottest it got was 80.
