Friday Favorites

Hey loves. It is Friday. After having a short week last week this week seemed to last forever. The kids have also been in moods, lots of fighting and their only volume is high. I know I am not alone. I hope you had a great week. Tonight Ella, her girlfriend and I are going to see Taylor Swift concert in the theatre. I have heard nothing but good things so I am excited. Do you have any fun plans this weekend?

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

Brian and I wondered around World Market last weekend on our date night, kid free. I just so happened to find a bottle of the Hallmark Channel Jingle wine on an end cap. I grabbed a bottle and I am ready for Christmas movies now. (it is not available online at World Market, in store only. It is also available through Hallmark Channel Wine club or shop. It was a lot cheaper in the store for $12) I can't wait to try it.

Another date night find. We went into Trader Joes to find Seaweed for Austin and Brian saw this on an end cap and wanted to try it. I don't normally buy cookie mixes but decided to give it a try. It is pretty good. (We found the seaweed, Austin took one bite and spit it out and started gagging. I have no idea why he kept asking to try seaweed).

~ THREE ~

Our church was hosting a trunk or treat that turned into kids crafts/activities inside because it was raining. They had fun decorating cupcakes, and pumpkin shaped cookies, and painting a wooden cat/pumpkin and a big pumpkin. They were also both excited to go to church on Sunday and Sunday school. Afterwards I asked them if they had fun and they both said yes.

~ FOUR ~

Anna found Color Reveal Princess and Frozen Snow Color Reveal dolls that she got for Christmas last year. (opps) The color reveal you shake with water and reveal the princess. The Frozen you add water that turns into snow and reveals either Anna or Elsa. She got Tiana and Anna. She played for a while with the snow too.

I have been on a sourdough kick this week. Earlier this week I made an artisan loaf, pepperoni mozerella bread, and pumpkin mini muffins. Last night I preppped soup bowls and two artisan loafs for friends.

In case you missed, here's a quick look at the blog this week:

  1. Your bread sounds good! I really need to practice baking more bread. And the Taylor Swift concert movie sounds like a fun weekend outing!
