What's Up Wednesday November Edition

Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. Thanksgiving is past and Christmas will be here in a blink of an eye. I had hoped for a slow month that turned into a month of house projects, high stress, and a wonderful holiday with family.

It's that time for Wha'ts Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of November here's what's up...

~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~

~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

Anna keeps talking about vacation we took in 2022 with my parents and sister. She wants to go back to the beach with Memaw, Papaw, Claudia, and Sarah. We will be going to the beach in a few weeks in South Carolina but it won't be the same as it will be to cold to swim.

Austin keeps asking when we are going back to the farm again. The end of October we went and visited Brian's sister on her farm in Kentucky. It was a good 7 hour drive. We will have to plan another trip.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~

Let me introduce you to Frank. He is our pleasantly plumb squirrel that comes to the door for food, but runs away as soon as you open it. The other day he even climbed all the way up the screen. I see him getting in the house this summer with the kids leaving the doors open.

I am loving no more duck wallpaper, grey walls, hardwood floors, Christmas movies, and the lights of the tree.

They have sibling love and fight but they also have their moments when they play so nicely together.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

We started off November waking up to snow. It didn't last long and we haven't had any since.

We have spent most weekends with our wonderful neighbors. There are two other couples that have kids the same ages as Anna and Austin makes for perfect playdates. Unfortunately there isn't any kids Ella's age but she has fun.

Brian is the best dad ever making a huge leaf pile for all the kids to jump in.

Let me introduce you to Comet. Austin named him. He is our neighborhood alpha male deer. He spent a whole day hanging out in our backyard and has come back numerous times since.

Sneak peak of home remodel that consisted of sanding drywall aka making a huge mess.

I took my kids to a fun holiday event at a local library. There were crafts, games, reindeer and more.

Their favorite part was meeting Elsa, even though you can't tell from the photos.

We hosted Thanksgiving for 24 people, the next day we transformed our house to Christmas.

This past weekend Anna has been under the weather. There has been lots of cuddles. While she naps I watch Christmas movies and enjoy the twinkle of the tree lights.

Gus Gus our Elf on the Shelf is back again for another year. Check back each Saturday to see his adventures.

~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~

I am dreading the craziness of the Holidays with Ella. Our schedule with her dad for this year, she isn't with us much, and missing out on a lot. She is at the age where she realizes it and isn't happy about it.

~ WHAT I AM WORKING ON ~

Finishing Christmas shopping for everyone in our family and giving family members ideas for my kids, even though they don't need anything.

I have two new Youtube videos up.

~ WHAT I AM EXCITED ABOUT ~

All the fun Christmas activities, driving around looking at Christmas lights, making lists for Santa, etc.

~ WHAT I AM WATCHING ~

Hallmark, Lifetime, and Great American Family Holiday movies.

~ WHAT I AM READING ~

Peppermint Wishes by D.L. Darby

~ WHAT I AM LISTENING TO ~

Lindsay Sterling Holiday and Pentatonix Holiday on repeat.

~ WHAT AM I WEARING ~

Wind chills have bee in the 20s (yes I know it will get worse) I pulled out these fleece lined joggers. They are so comfy cozy and warm.

~ FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH ~

We are flying to South Carolina over New Years and a girlfriend recommended this travel bag as a my carry on that will hold everything and more.

~ WHAT WE ARE DOING THIS WEEKEND ~

Our church is having a Parents Day Out. I am excited for my kids to hang out with the other kids from church and I have a little shopping to do while they are there.
