My Ins and Outs of 2024

Hey friends. Happy Thursday. The weekend is almost here. If you have been around this year has been off to a rough start with every week something happening out of the norm, usually someone home sick. I am declaring March a new start. Who says it has to be a new year for a restart?

I saw these trend early this year of the Ins and Outs of 2024. Sharing what you are changing from 2023 to 2024. Yes I give goals for each year and month this is just a different dive. Especially right now where I feel suck and like I need to make some changes for the positive.

Ins
  • Giving myself grace- from workouts to motherhood and everything in between.
  • Slowing down- I want to remember and make memories with my kids not just blink my eye and they are grown up.
  • Moving my body- Not so much forced workouts that I don't enjoy and having to stick to a calendar, doing more movement that I enjoy including walking, cycling, Pilates, and weights.
  • Adventures with my family- weather it be taking the kids to different parks or mini vacations with the family, lets do it.
  • Daily Skin Care
  • Making time for things I enjoy
  • Making time for me
  • Daily bible reading
  • Daily journaling and gratitude
  • Daily devotionals
  • Opening windows every chance I get
  • Being aware of my spending, including groceries
  • Less toxic items
  • Selfcare Sundays
  • Making more meals from scratch
  • Sourdough everything
  • More time with friends

Outs
  • Caring what others think- this is a given
  • Saying yes to thinks that don't find our family needs/want/desires
  • yo-yo dieting
  • Mindless scrolling on social media- I put timers on my apps now to prevent this
  • Stressing over things I can't control
  • Ultra long to do lists
  • Negative thinking
  • Negative self talk
  • All the negative news
  • To much stuff/ clutter
  • Keeping things just incase I need it one day
  • To much toxic chemicals
  • Eating foods that make me feel like crap
  • Always having my phone within reach
  • comparison with others
  • Following accounts on social media that don't inspire
I am sure I could come up with a lot more too. Do we have any ins or outs in common?

Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
