What's Up Wednesday March Edition

Hey friends. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. March flew by compared to the last two months. Weather in Ohio has went from Spring back to Winter to Spring again. This weekend is Easter followed by Spring Break.

It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of March here's what's up...

~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

Look at Audrianna's curls.

My handsome little fire fighter

Brian took Austin to see the Easter bunny for the first time and it didn't go so well. I will always remember this picture.

It is hard to believe that Claudia and Aubriella are 12 already.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~

This girls personality and sense of style. She is full of energy and can always make you smile and laugh.

I am turning into a plant lady. I have three so far and want more. The struggle is we don't have windows that get sun. When the sun is shining I have two spots that I can move the plants to as the sun moves outside.

I have been struggling with headaches lately. Instead of popping a pill (which I hate) I have been applying pain a trate from my wellness box. It has helped so much.

This has been my newest obsession and most used purchase recently. I bought the cheese grater attachment for the Kitchen-Aid mixer. We are no longer buying pre-shredded cheese, which is not only saving us money but it tastes so much better.

I bought a new purse from Glass Ladder co.  Glass and co. It is the large Michelle tote. It holds two 40oz tumblers, the inside in waterproof, and has a separate sleeve for a laptop. I have used it quite a few times.

I am loving the way our office is turning out.

All the flowers in my parents backyard.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

We started off the month going to the Cleveland Monsters hockey game with out church as a family. We had fun even though the Monster's didn't win.

The month started with some gorgeous temps in the upper 60s and lower 70s. We spent a lot if time outside everyday, and hanging out with the neighbors and their kids. One night we hosted our two neighborhood friends families for hot dogs and smores. The next week we were at one of their houses.

If the temps are above 40 Austin wants to be outside playing basketball. Truthfully he asks to go outside when it is colder too but we limit that since he won't wear gloves playing basketball and when it feels like 16 degree its a little chilly.

Spring weather calls for digging in the dirt and finding worms. Also making new holes in the backyard that Brian has to reseed.

It hasn't been perfect I have gotten into a good routine our working out 3 to 5 days a week. Doing of variety of cardio, weights, and cycle workouts.

Brian and I had a date night. We started at a local brewery for a drink and appetizers then headed to an outdoor shopping mall, did some window shopping and had Yard House for dinner.

When we had our date night, Austin and Anna had a sleepover at Grandma's they were so excited for it. Bonus they weren't on electronics the whole time.

Green day at school. They each wore green to school on the Friday before St. Patrick's day.

We hosted my nieces Claudia's birthday party. Ella took the initiative to decorate the house for Claudia while my parents were watching the kids as Brian and I were at a surprise birthday party for our friend.

We are all so proud that Anna learned how to tie her shoes and she got a certificate for it at school. She wants to show everyone how much of a big girl she is.

Almost Easter so Brian and the kids got haircuts.

~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~

The solar eclipse on April 8th. We are in direct line of the eclipse and expending millions of people in the area. They are advising locals to stay home. Previous years different location had traffic jams for hours and emergency personal where unable to get to their emergencies. places are opening for camping early, hotels are sold out, etc. It is only April in Ohio. We can get snow until May. It is also opening day for the Cleveland Indians/Guardians baseball and it is usually either freezing, raining or snowing. I am excited to experience an eclipse with my kids but I am not looking forward to everything else that comes with it.

~ WHAT I AM WORKING ON ~

I originally was compiling and testing a breakfast freezer stash with 10 recipes to store in the freezer for less chaotic mornings, it has turned into a Make Ahead Breakfast Stash that includes
  • 5 Make Ahead Recipes
  • 5 Freezer Stockpile Recipes
  • 5 Sourdough Freezer Stockpile Recipes
  • 3 Homemade Staples Recipes
  • Pairing Ideas

~ WHAT I AM EXCITED ABOUT ~

A relaxing Spring Break. This is the first time in a while we have nothing planned for the week. As of right now the weather is suppose to be cold and raining, but that could change.

~ WHAT I AM WATCHING ~

I personally am watching nothing. Taylor Swift the Eras tour has been playing numerous times in my house that I have caught bits and pieces. Ella and Anna are both obsessed.

Disney piano while in the office working.

~ WHAT I AM WEARING ~

I randomly bought this 3 pack of tank tops off Amazon last month. On sale was orange, pink, and green. It gave me a green tank top to wear for St. Patrick's Day.

~ FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH ~

I haven't bought much off Amazon this month. My favorite thing would have to be this new preworkout I am trying. You don't get the jitters but gives you that boost in your workout. I have been using it for two weeks now and I am liking it.

~ WHAT WE ARE DOING THIS WEEKEND ~

Visiting the Easter Bunny and celebrating Easter.

~ WHAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH ~
