What's Up Wednesday May Edition

Hey friends. Happy What's Up Wednesday. It is Wednesday right? Having off Monday throws me off. Anyways how is it already the last Wednesday of the month. This month has flown by. It is hard to believe that Austin broke his arm 4 weeks ago and life is starting to get back to normal. Plus it is almost summer. We are counting down the days.

It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of May here's what's up...

~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

Ella  graduated from preschool in 2017

Austin graduated preschool in 2021 and Anna graduated this year. We loved Fit by Five for all the kids. It is sad that our time with them is over. Anna started there when she was 2 and they were great with her.

Anna being cute with pigtails, she barely lets me do her hair now.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~

Eating outside any chance we can get. From breakfast, lunch, dinner, and ice cream.

I got a new plant stand that Ella build for me. (she needed the box for a school project).

In the middle of the summer when my kid came in to the doctors for a wellness check with a bunch of bruises from being a kid and playing outside. The doctor told me he would be more concerned if kids didn't have normal bruises from being a kid and playing outside in the summer. I got these bandages and mela gel that is great for minor cuts from my wellness box. The bandages stay on and are easier than most to get off.

We saw our first baby deer of the year. He was in our backyard then went down and up the creek to the other side of the woods with wobbly legs.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

Ella performed in Music ala Mode, which is an all day music event for students 5th to 12th grade. It goes from 10 am to 10 pm. Ella was in Band playing the flute and in choir. This was her last year in band.

Austin broke his arm and had emergency surgery the last week of April. He got his permanent cast on and rocked it for 3 weeks. His Grandma and Aunt bought him a bunch of button up shirts to wear to school. He was such a trooper.

Some one on one time with my princess. We walked around the local park looking for baby geese but didn't find anyone. The end of coming to our one on one time all the time with summer starting and her going to full day Kindergarten in the fall.

We have been playing with all the chalk.

We hosted Mother's Day brunch. Brian was in charge and did everything and I got to relax. I did do all the cleaning before the day.

Every weekend Anna has had soccer. She is loving it. We only have one more day.

Brian and I went to the Cleveland Art Museum with a few people from our church. We had brunch that was delicious and had an hour guided tour.

Our church is getting an outdoor Peace Pavilion to host events and church. Everyone got to help break ground and flip dirt. The kids loved it.

Pool season has started for this little one.

Anna helped daddy plants my mother's day flowers.

Did you know that Taylor Swift has 11 albums. for the last 11 days of school Ella is dressing as a different album.

Anna had her last day of preschool.

Anna has had a fun cute graduation. Look at the sass.

Austin got his cast off and pins out. He still has a month of restrictions. Plus hopefully in the next month or so his nerve damage will head and he will be able to use his fingers again.

We have had lots of fun with our neighbors. We have spent every weekend with them.

Ella walked in the Memorial Day parade with some of her Girl Scout troop.

We had the perfect rain (no storms) for Anna to wear her new rainboots and use her umbrella and dance in the rain. She also screamed/sang "Rain Rain Go Away".

~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~

The waiting game for Austin to get feeling back in his fingers and to be able to move them. He got nerve damage from breaking his arm and the doctor said it will take 3 months for it to heal.

  1. So glad Austin got his cast off and I hope the nerve damage repairs itself soon. That must have been some break! Yikes. I love that your daughter dressed like Taylor Swift the last 11 days of school-- that sounds so fun. And those preschool grad photos are just adorable.
