Hey friends. Happy Friday. How was your week? I had a very unplanned low key week because I was dealing with back pain and spent most of the week on the couch not doing anything. It was feeling better Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Then I had to pick Ella up from her dads the morning we got ice and snow. A car did a 360 around me, he didn't hit us or anything, but the tension of the stress of it went straight to my back. I am hoping today I am back to normal. This weekend we have a busy weekend with some Christmas fun and celebrating Brian's birthday.
~ ONE ~
Gusgus our elf on the shelf is back and brought a friend this year. This kids had a fun North Pole Breakfast with powdered donuts, followed by pancakes and bacon. Every Saturday for the next month I will be recapping our adventures from the previous week with Gusgus and Snowflake.
~ TWO ~
Ella and I escaped around 8am on Black Friday. We were on a mission to find the new Taylor Swift vinyl. i didn't realize it would mean 2 different Targets to find it.
~ THREE ~
I strained my back while getting all the Christmas boxes out of the attic and have been pretty much down for the count since. Brian has been amazing getting all the decorating and helping around the house. Brian and Austin decorated the main living room tree. Brian and Anna did the Disney tree in the foyer. We still have the tree in the office to do but we need to buy new lights.
~ FOUR ~
The kids friend, our neighbor, had a birthday party at Main Event. It included pizza, cake, ice cream, and 3 hours of unlimited game place. Anna's favorite was the hurricane simulator.
The boys and Ella liked skee ball. (Anna couldn't throw it hard enough)
Anna won a round of racing, with someone else pressing on the gas.
~ FIVE ~
I started a 25 day devotional advent and activity book with these two. We are loving it. They are so interested in learning about God, praying each night, and the activities.
~ SIX ~
Anna was just laying there "mom its beautiful"
~ SEVEN ~
Yesterday morning I had to pick Ella up from her dads. It was snowing, cold, and 50mph winds. I came home to Brian had start the fire and had just the Christmas lights on.
