Currently

Hey loves. Happy New Year. It is crazy saying that it is 2025. It has been a fun last couple of weeks celebrating Christmas, New Years, spending time as a family, seeing lots of family and some friends. All of the food, cheese, cookies, chocolate, wine... anyone else in sluggish mood from all the foods. It is sad at the same time knowing that next Monday it is back to full reality, back to school, new work schedules, and sports.

I am linking up with Jenn over at Overflowing with Thankfulness on the first Monday of every month for Currently.

Loving

All three of my kids had real smile with Santa. We went to Cabela's two days before Christmas to get our free picture of the year. Santa was awesome getting them to laugh, and talking in slang acting like a teenager. Ella said he wasn't making any sense. He didn't need to make sense he made you all laugh and smile so that is all that matters.

Morning and evenings by the light of the trees. Throwing in the fireplace is a bonus. I love this time of the year and all the lights.

Time together as a family. From going to see Christmas lights on a snowy night to curling up on the cough watching movies, to all the Lego's and playing games.

Doing To Stay Warm

The past week has been crazy warm for December in Ohio. I am talking temps in the upper 50's, we have had windows open getting fresh air and sending the kids outside to play.

On the cold days we have had, which the next few days we have snow in the forecast and temps in the lower 20's, a fire, hot coffee or hot chocolate, and curling up with a blanket.

Resolving

Brian is in the process of switching brokers with his real estate job. He is going from having an office 10 minutes away to an office 40 minutes away. With that he will be working from home most days, kicking me out of the office. We need to reorganize the office, I will be working from other area's in the house and potentially coffee shops.

Organizing

Everything. I am so ready to purge and get rid of so much. I need a dumpster and a fire. I need to get over the thought of trying to sell everything on poshmark, pango books, and Facebook marketplace. I am just moving stuff from one spot to the other then it sits there waiting for someone to buy it, and it doesn't happen quick enough or at all.

I am starting room by room. Starting with Anna's room. She has asked to have her Barbie dream house moved from the basement. This means rearranging her room and getting a bunch of stuff out of her room.

Wearing

Nothing different from usual. I am a yoga pants, tank top, throw on a sweatshirt kind of girl.

Did you stay up until midnight to watch the ball drop?
