Our Week- Fall Feels, Sports, and CP

Hey loves. September is flying by. Just when I think I am getting into a good routine, I "fall off the wagon".

Monday September 8

We have been having chilly mornings and somewhat cooler days. The start of soup season and fall.

Monday was a hectic day. Brian and I both had meeting in the morning, he had appointments in the afternoon, and Anna had gymnastics. But Austin was home running a fever. Brian ended up not going to his meeting in person (he had the option to zoom in) and I had to go to mine because the Pastor was going out of town for 3 weeks and we had to finalize things before he left. I ended up working at the church until 1, then came home and Brian went to his appointments.

Ella called me on her walk home from the bus stop and asked me to meet her. She found a yellow/green caterpillar she wanted to show me.

Anna had gymnastics. This was her first week with her official coach for this session and she wasn't a fan of him. It really was a free for all do this and switch every few minutes, but no helping them master their skills. But she still had fun and was tired after her hour class.

Austin stayed home with Ella watching him. He hadn't had a fever since he woke up and was feeling better.

Ella got part of her Halloween costume in the mail. I guess we need to cut the bangs.

Tuesday September 9

Our deer friends visited before school. I love how excited my kids still get seeing the deer, pretty much everyday. Note the deer laying down on the hill is laying in a hole that the kids dug.
My kids headed off to school and I headed to work. It was a long day with a lot of interrupting, the server crashed, and I got nothing done that I needed to get done.

After dinner Ella and I went to Target. I needed to grab a few things and went wondering since I only had one kid to shop with. I took this photo to try and talk Austin into being something easy for Halloween. He wants to be the Creeper from Minecraft. (square head) He is not one to wear masks or anything like that and he can't wear any type of masks for school. I don't want to waste the money for him not to wear it.

How cute it his frog mug? In reality it would be hard to drink out so I didn't get it.

Wednesday September 10

After the kids got on the bus Brian and I headed to meet my parents for breakfast for their birthday. They were running behind because of traffic so we went into Dollar General for Brian to grab something for work. What is with Halloween decorations blowing bubbles? This is the only place I have seen this also.

We went to a local restaurant, Canary's. I got a sausage gravy skillet with eggs and hash browns. It was delicious but equaled 3 meals.

I had woken up with a headache before 5am. I went back to sleep. Still had a headache when I woke up so I took so meds. It took the edge off but didn't last long. By the time I was home my head was killing me again. I took more meds and put on a topical pain cream. Again it helped a little bit (more than just the meds) I ran up to the church to print what I wasn't able to get done the day before with the server crash. When I got home my head was back to killing me. I ended up taking a nap on the couch. Thankfully I woke up my head was feeling better.

After school Anna had soccer. Austin and I just hung out at home and had a relaxing evening.

Thursday September 11

Woke up feeling better and got a workout in. Got the kids off to school then headed to work.

All day this bee/wasp/hornet, whatever it is, drove me nuts hanging out on the camera. (he hasn't been there since). He was mad they had sprayed his nest in the ground the day before.

Getting my kids off the bus I noticed the tree is full of helicopter seeds.

One of the trees in the woods is starting to scream fall colors.

After doing homework Anna and Austin helped Brian unload bricks from his truck. (one day all his projects will be done)

Ella requested peas for dinner. I didn't think we had any, but we found a can in the basement. That is all she had for dinner.

Friday September 12

Welcome to a moody 6 year old who has bigger eyes than her belly. She asked for bread with butter, 2 waffles with Nutella, fruit snacks, coffee, and a cookie. She ended up eating half her bread, 1 waffle, and a cookie with coffee.

I finally took the time to organize our deep freezer. It was hectic, unorganized, a huge box for one pizza, and barely wanted to close. I also had no idea what was in there. I found 8 lbs of ground sausage that I thought I used up, and 4 bags of chicken wings I didn't know Brian had bought.

Ella's dad asked if I could drive her home and we had nothing planned so I was able to. Brian suggested we all go to drop her off then go out to dinner. We stopped by a little whole in the wall pizza shop in a downtown area. We got there before the crowd. They use paper plates, your beer/pop comes in a can, plastic silverware, but the nicest workers ever. I would totally go back again.

We sat on the outdoor patio. The train tracks were a few hundred feet away. The kids stood on the sidewalk to watch the train go by.

Saturday September 13

A slow morning of watching two episodes of With Love, Megan on Netflix. Then folded laundry and got ready for soccer. My parents come over to pack some totes to my sister who had to move apartments because of a leak, go to Anna's soccer game and go look at a camper with Brian.

This was the first soccer game that Austin had to go with us. He was not enthused but was a great cheerleader for his sister.

Anna and her team were not all mentally there. They improved from last year but it wasn't their best week.

After the game Brian grabbed a quick bite then went with my dad to go look at a camper as my father has experience in campers. We always had a camper and went camping growing up.

While they were gone we relax and I took a little nap.

When Brian got home we headed to Cedar Point. It was gorgeous weather and the first weekend of Halloweekends. It wasn't horribly busy when we got there, but most of the Halloween stuff doesn't started until later in the day.

Anna was drinking a yellow Lemonade Icee then a blue raspberry one. She wanted to see if her tongue turned green.

The dads and kids rode a few rides, I just just walked around with them.

A blue and red Icee makes a purple tongue, or atleast she tried.

By 8 the "freaks" started coming out. These are some of the costumed actors for one of the haunted houses. There are also different areas that are scary, one area has clowns that walk around, etc. Also at this time the haunted areas started opening up and it was getting busier. We decided it was time to leave.

But first one last ride of the night on the merry go round.

Sunday September 14

Brian and Austin headed to baseball practice for the game. I did some cleaning around the house and opened my wellness box for the month. (A new youtube video is coming soon)

Austin had his last fall baseball game. His team struggled with the earlier 915 practice and 945 start time. (only 15 minute difference but a huge difference) Their heads were not in the game and they weren't paying attention. Unfortunately they didn't win.

Austin did have the best little cheerleader who also videoed him.

After the game Brian went shopping for food for the Browns game. I went home to finish cleaning and prepping for the game. This was our weekend to host. It was nice relaxing evening. Everyone was gone before 8 for baths, bedtime stories, and bed.
