What's Up Wednesday September 2025

Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. September flew by.

It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of September here's what's up...

~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~

Sunday- Browns game

I also plan on making sourdough bagels and English muffins today.

~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

Ella and I loved my hair here.

Ella loving her brother.

Anna

Austin

They are just growing up way to fast.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~

Sibling morning cuddles before they start fighting

Morning cuddles with mom

Honey crisp Apple candle from Trader Joes. I should have bought more than one. It truly smells delightfully like you are apple picking without the bees.

Costco find. Vegetable Spring rolls. Toss them in the air fryer and they are so delicious. Even my kids eat them.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

So we did a thing and bought a camper. I grew up camping and we had previously talked about buying a trailer. An opportunity came about to get this one so we went for it. Our kids are so excited to go camping but it won't be until the spring.

Anna is doing soccer again this fall. She is doing so much better (no yoga on the field) and is enjoying it.

My mom threw and I hosted my dad a 70th birthday party at our house.

More soccer, twice a week, Brian is the coach.

Brian and these two made this fort in the woods next to our house with trails and lots of imagination. They have been spending a lot more time outside in the woods, in the creek and off tablets.

Austin finished with Fall Baseball. I watched him progress so much in these 5 weeks compared to the whole regular season. (not the cheerleader sister taking video of him)

Anna started gymnastics at a new place. For the most part she is loving it. The one thing she doesn't like is her coach is a male. Out of the 2 out of 3 classes she has had substitute instructors who have been girls and have been amazing. We are waiting until soccer is over to potentially switch classes.

A night away for a birthday party at a lake house was the perfect end of the official summer season.

Then we ended up renting a pontoon boat for 4 hours and driving around the lake and had so much fun all 13 of us with no electronics.

Ella is doing Student Council, WEB and Girl Scouts, making some afternoons crazy with all the activities. Anna is also doing Girl Scouts. Austin currently is not doing anything until Basketball starts.

~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~

Next week's doctors appointment for Ella. On Monday Ella had an appointment with her ENT for her hearing loss. The doctor recommended a list of tests to do that could correlate with her hearing loss, could be a factor and / or link just to eliminate potential other underlying causes. While in the office she had an EKG done. A few hours later I received the most dreaded unexpected phone call that something showed up in her EKG and we needed to see an Cardiologist within the next few weeks. We go Monday afternoon. I have been a mess since the phone call.

~ WHAT I AM EXCITED ABOUT ~

  1. Oh so fun! I hope you and your family LOVE the camper. I really hope all goes well with Ella's appointment. I HATE that "we saw something" call-- I've gotten that before and lived on pins and needles for nearly 2 weeks while the doctor was away on vacation. I will be praying for you!
