Gratitude Challenge Week 2

Hey loves. I am back for week two of the gratitude challenge. Every year for the past few years I have done some sort of gratitude challenge in the month on November. With all the craziness of the holidays and the world we are in right now, taking a few minutes everyday to really be thankful for what we have or are experiences is so important.

November 8

I am grateful to be able to attend and contribute to a local Connecting with Kids fundraiser. They help local families get resources, concerns, and community for their children.

November 9

A day to recuperate. Even though nothing went as planned, being able to take a set back, and reset

November 10

I am grateful we have a roof over our heads with heat, and a fire to also keep us warm and add to the ambiance.

November 11

I am grateful that Brian enjoys doing Legos and having the patience to help Austin. For Austin's birthday last year he got a Star Wars Lego set that is above his age and has over 1500 pieces and 14 bags. Brian and Austin have started doing a bag or so a couple of nights together.

November 12

A simple thank you and trying new food. I made beef and broccoli with rice for dinner. We have never had it homemade before or with ground beef. I told the kids they had to at least try it. Anna said " I tried it I don't like it" Austin said "I like thank you, can I have more" It's the little thing with manners.

November 13

I am grateful to have learned with the struggle to master making sourdough bread. We went through 2 full loaves this week because my kids are not eating it as well.

November 14

I am grateful Brian and I got a much needed one on one dates (compared to group dates). Brian's mom and aunt watched our kids for a sleepover.
