Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday and Happy Thanksgiving Eve. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. The craziness of the holidays have started and I am ready for making all the memories.
It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.
On the last week of November here's what's up...
~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~
Monday- White Chicken Chili
Tuesday- Tacos
Wednesday- Cheeseburger Calzones
Thursday- Thanksgiving
Friday- Leftovers
~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~
Austin keeps asking to go on the Polar Express again and Anna was too little to remember it. Unfortunately it has become so popular and expensive (close to $100 a ticket). Once tickets go live to the public it is hard to find 4 seats together then throw in an extra seat close by. (members get first dibs) Plus they no longer read the book and instead of Hot Chocolate they have milk. It just doesn't seem worth it.
I was looking for a picture on Anna with her own Thanksgiving outfit with a turkey on the butt but couldn't find it. I did find this one. Yes she was asleep. This girl use to sleep anywhere.
~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~
It is hot chocolate season.
I grabbed this Mickey Mouse head candle from Aldi's a few weeks ago. It doesn't have the scent listed, but it smells good.
School pictures, also oops I didn't mean to order Anna's picture with snowflake but it is cute.
Ella took a dress to change into and actually changed. (she did the same thing last year but didn't change)
Austin picked out his own shirt.
Brian and Austin working on one of Austin's large Star Wars Lego sets.
I am loving our new Christmas lights. They are red, green, and white.
Fort building and sleepovers with these two.
~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~
Could you guess we have a gymnast in our house? She loves going to gymnastics and practices everyday.
Ella decided to take 6 weeks of fencing. I am happy that she decided to try something new. Unfortunately she doesn't like it and won't be continuing.
Brian and the kids finally painted the shed, well most of it. The trim and doors are not done. The doors need wood replaced first.
At least there are no longer 3 different color samples on the front of the shed, that had been there for 3 years.
Brian had done lots of leaf blowing. He had a surprise for the kids after school one day with a huge pile in the backyard. They were so excited to jump in it.
Brian and I, as well as our neighbor couples went to a fundraiser for Connecting for Kids.
I am turning into a plant lady. Not pictured all the other plants I got around the house and 6 more that I picked up yesterday.
The kids made their Christmas lists. They mostly were Lego's and Barbies.
Brian and I had a date night. We went to Tartini and I have a chicken tartini which is an open faced sandwich. It was delicious.
Ella had an eye appointment. This eye Dr look behind her eyes and checked everything (compared to just an eye exam for glasses). There was the potential of a link between her hearing loss and something with her eyes. Thankfully everything came back healthy.
Mommy's little waffle maker helper. Our new waffle iron has the light that tells you when they are done. She told me when the light turned on because she didn't want burnt waffles.
We went and got pictures with Santa.
and delivered our letters to Santa.
Ella helped winterize the camper by putting a huge tarp over it.
~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~
I love the holidays but sometimes the craziness of it all can be so overwhelming. Trying to do it all and keep up with normal everyday life can be a lot.

Coming up with ideas for family members to buy our kids for Christmas that isn't just Lego's, Barbies and clothes.

~ FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH ~
A new waffle maker that makes 4 waffles at the same time and they are Belgium waffles so nice and big and crispy. I spend a lot less time making waffles and my kids still love them.
~ WHAT WE ARE DOING THIS WEEKEND ~
Another busy weekend. We are decorating the house for Christmas which means putting up two more trees (we are doing one today) we have a birthday party and the biggest game of the year for OSU vs Xichigan, a visit to one girlfriend who just bought a new house, and the Browns game.
