Hey loves. It's Friday. It is my favorite post of week, sharing favorites from the past week. Yesterday we had a fun snow day. We knew about it on Wednesday night and had a fun late evening with the neighbors and the kids playing in the snow. My kids are back in school today, I have to work for a few hours then we have a 3 day weekend and more snow and negative windchill in the forecast.
~ ONE ~
Basketball season is here. This is Anna's first year playing and Brian is her coach. So far she is having fun. She needs to work on her shooting, but is also the smallest girl on her team.
Austin is also doing basketball again. He has a lot more confidence and skills this year. His team is actually pretty good this year and they won their first game.
~ TWO ~
Just a girl and her dog, well her friends dog that she has claimed as her own.
~ THREE ~
A few weeks ago when we were in Kentucky (before Christmas) we stopped at Jungle Jims and Ella got a coconut. She finally cracked it open as it was going bad. She used a happen, knife, straw, and strength. Maybe next time we eat it sooner (we didn't eat it this time) and watch a YouTube video of a easier way to open it.
~ FOUR ~
Wednesday night fun with neighbors waiting for the anticipation of a snow day. We got hit with lake effect snow that just kept dropping inches and had no idea when it would stop. The kids left school with no snow on the ground, when they got home the ground was already covered which was like 10 minutes later.
While the kids were outside enjoying the snow and waiting for a snow day, the parents were inside enjoy a glass or wine in anticipation of having the kids home all day and everyone's plans having to change.
~ FIVE ~
The dads and boys were outside shoveling and snow blowing all three driveways and the sidewalks. Anna goes outside after they all come inside. She had to help too, after it was all done.

~ SIX ~
I was not prepared for company with chilled whites. The outdoor snow fridge works great.
A glass of bubbles with all the kids played nicely all day with no fighting until the end when they were getting tired and had been together for 6 hours.
~ SEVEN ~
The perfect snow day with a fire, friends, and movies.
