Hey loves. School started last week. We are still over here getting back into routines and organized to have a successful year ahead. I am sharing a few more helpful things that we are doing to get organized for back to school and into new routines and rhythms.
- Homework Station
- In our kitchen we have a desk (that isn't used as a desk) but has drawers where we store school supplies. There are bins for the essentials they could need for doing homework (pencils, erasers, pens, crayons, scissors, markets, etc.) This needs purged, restocked, and organized.
- Command Center
- Updated calendar with all the events for the month
- On the desk in our office we have a 3 stack filing system. Each kid can put any important papers in their file. This way papers don't get lost of accidentally tossed that need to be saved.
- This year we are going to put papers that needs gone through on the desk in the office, instead of on the kitchen counter. I will easily be able to go through them, file it needed or toss and not worry about getting dinner on them.
- Work Bag
- The kids are back to school and I am back at the office all day 3 days a week. It has been a very lax summer with my work schedule. I need to organize and restock my work bag of essentials I need throughout the day. From hand lotion, acetaminophen, to ear buds, and hair ties.
- Plan Work Lunches
- I don't take a true lunch and leave the office (but maybe I should). I either pack a lunch or order delivery. I don't need to be spending the money on take out all the time so I am planning healthy filling lunches.
- I also have a snack draw at work that I need to restock.
I hope you have a wonderful week.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO
