Easy Homemade(ish) Pot Pie

One of my favorite home style meals is Chicken Pot Pie. It could be 100 degrees outside and it will still sound amazing to me.

Easy Homemade(ish) Pot Pie

Ingredients:
1 package pie crust, (2 crusts) room temperature
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups diced cooked chicken
16 oz frozen veggies
1/2 cup chicken broth
garlic powder
salt and pepper

Directions:
1- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
2- In a 9 inch pie dish spread out one of the pie crusts in the bottom of the dish.
3- In a large skillet over medium heat, add cream of chicken soup and chicken broth. Stir until hot.
4- Add frozen veggies, chicken and spices to taste. Stir until hot.
5- Pour mixture into pie dish.
6- Place second pie crust on top. Cut off overhanging crust, and seal ends. (I added a Mickey Mouse with remaining crust)
7- Cut 4 slits in the top of the pie.
8- Place on cookie sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
9- Let cool 10 minutes.
10- Serve
11- Enjoy.
