TBB Asks- July - Vacation Edition

Can you believe it is already July. June flew by, the last week was crazy busy, a holiday later this week and more fun. Taking it a little slower today with some TBB Asks. Check back tomorrow for a summer weekly recap week 3

1- Will you go on a summer vacation this year? Yes we are going on a family vacation to Disney World.

2- Do nothing but relax or pack it all in vacation? I would love a vacation where I just relax, Brian on the other hang can't sit still to save his life. Plus with having kids we have to keep them amused. At Disney World there isn't to much relaxing just lots of running around and pool time, hopefully a nap each day too.

3- What month do you like to vacation? Any month is good with me. It was great this past April when Brian and I went on our Disney vacation without kids crowds were low. We are taking the kids in August so we don't have to worry about missing school this year.

4- Cruise yes or no? I love cruises. I am still trying to talk Brian into going on a cruise, I also would wait until my kids are older to go on a cruise with them.

5- Favorite vacation tradition? I wish I could say we have an amazing favorite tradition but we don't. We have road trip snacks (combos and junk food) and really just enjoy ourselves. Vacations don't last forever.

6- Most memorable vacation? Growing up my family and my one aunts family would rent a house on the beach in North Carolina. We always had so much fun. Usually the houses also had a hot tub to use as well as private beach access, and short walk to a shopping strip/board walk.

7- Pack light or pack it all? If it was just me (no kids) pack light, now that I have to worry about my kids I end up packing it all. Also when on a cruise I pack it all because if you forget something it is hard or very expensive to buy what you forgot.

8- Hotel, Condo, or house? When we go to Disney we stay on property at a Disney resort. I would love to rent a house on the beach for our vacation next summer. For mini-getaways we have always stayed at hotels.

9- Favorite things to eat on vacation? Local, mom and pop restaurants and places we don't have at home. Also lots of ice cream.

10- Warm or cold destination? Warm. I have been to Canada and Niagara Falls many times in the winter. (and see the falls frozen) We are not winters sports people.

Now I am excited to plan another vacation. Do you have a summer vacation planned?
