Shepard's Pie

Shepard's Pie

  • 1 lb beef (I used leftover roast, but can also use ground beef)
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup frozen peas and corn
  • 2 cups mashes potatoes (I did not use 2 cups so the picture is with less potatoes)
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray pie dish and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat brown beef or reheat roast. Drain fat.
  3. Add in onion. Saute a few minutes.
  4. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  5. Reduce heat to low, stir in frozen peas and corn.
  6. Stir in cream of mushroom soup.
  7. Pour mixed into pie dish.
  8. Spread mashed potatoes over the top covering completely.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes. 
  10. Let sit 5 minutes
  11. Serve
  12. Enjoy
