22 Weeks, some big milestones and not so good news

Time is starting to fly this pregnancy, or at least is starting to feel like it is moving along. This past week I had my latest doctors appointment. When the nurse told me I was half way there and it was time to start filling out hospital paperwork, and right before my next appointment (which I will be 25 weeks) I can get my glucose test I was in complete denial. I can't be that far already. The reality hit I have so much to do before then. But are we really ever ready for a new baby to come.

Besides being in denial how far along I am, things are starting to feel real. The constant dance parties going on inside my belly remind me there is someone in there.

Sorry blurry, this is what happens when my 7 year old is the photographer this morning. I found this shirt in my closet that I bought a few years ago (after having Austin). Brian saw it and he knew we would be having one more. It says "I'm Having a Minnie Me" Even though I don't know if I am having a girl or boy I still will rock my shirt.

Time for some pregnancy highlights for this past week:

How Far Along Are You: 22 weeks and 1 day

Size of Baby According to the Bump: As Big As a Coconut

Total Weight Gain / Loss: Finally gained 3 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Still wearing yoga pants, but mostly maternity tops.

Movement: Yes. This little one has been having some dance parties and the other night was up doing gymnastics at 2am and not letting mom sleep.

Sleep: I have good nights and bad nights. I have been dealing with heartburn, a gymnast, insomnia, and horrible nightmares.

Cravings: Ice Cream.

Symptoms: feeling lots of movement, round ligament pain, still dealing with being nauseous and vomiting, heartburn, eating more often, and growing belly.

Best Moment (s) this week: The other night Ella felt the baby kick for the first time, she was also the first one to feel Austin move when I was pregnant with him. Brian still has not felt the baby move but has tried.  (Picture above)

Other moments: The other morning I as squeezing in our bathroom with Austin to help him wash up after making a mess. I tried to get between him and the bathroom door to get him a wash cloth. I accidentally knocked him over with my belly. Don't worry I caught him. I am realizing I can't fit in spaces I use to.

The Not So Good News: I wish I could say I have happy textbook pregnancies where nothing went wrong. That hasn't been the case with any of my previous pregnancies either and isn't the case for the current one either. Knock on wood, baby #3 is healthy and active. But the bad news is I potentially have a kidney stone. All of the signs/symptoms point to having one, minus not having the ultrasound to be 100% certain. Unfortunately there is really nothing you can do for a kidney stone while pregnant. You just hope it passes on it own. It has just been suggested to drink lots more fluids and hope it passes on its own. The positive is I don't have a kidney infection from it. Praying that is passes on it own without and major complications.

Hope you have a great week. I am linking up with Lindsay for Hello Monday!!!
