Every year while carving pumpkins we also roast pumpkin seeds. It is so time consuming and not my favorite thing to do, but I love to eat the pumpkin seeds. This year I did it a little different. I let my pumpkin seeds sit over night to dry and used the air fryer. They turned out so good and so much easier.
Air Fryer Pumpkin Seeds
Ingredients:
- pumpkin seeds
- EVOO
- salt
- other seasoning (optional)
Directions:
- Remove seeds from pumpkin. Remove guts/pulp from pumpkin seeds.
- Place seeds in colander, rinse to help remove rest of pulp.
- Lay seeds on towel and let dry. (I do overnight) you want seeds to be completely dry
- Place seeds in bowl. Stir in EVOO and salt.
- Place seeds in air fryer basket.
- Roast for 10-15 minutes at 390 degrees
- Remove and let cool.
- Enjoy
- Store in air tight container
