Happy New Year

Hey loves. Can you believe that it is January 2023? Who is with me and loves a new month and especially a new year. 2022 did not end as planned. After Christmas our family got hit with Covid again and Brian's dad is in the hospital. He was on a ventilator, but it off it now. He still has a long road ahead of him but seems to be improving every day. We also have family in from Seattle during all this, our visits started outside and are now inside with everyone having negative tests back. It is great to see them as they come home only once a year if we are lucky.

Are you starting the new year off with new goals or even refocusing on old goals? I am so excited to refocus and dial in on what I need and want in my life. I am all about setting personal and professional realistic goals for myself. I will also still be sharing and reflect on my monthly goals with you to help hold me accountable.

Before we get into goal setting for 2023 lets do a reflection of 2022:

My word of the year for 2022 was More:

  • more time for me
  • more time being present with my kids
  • more time with just Brian and I
  • more time with family
  • more time connecting God
  • more out of my workouts
  • help more people
  • more organization
  • more focused, less random scrolling
  • more reading
  • more connections with friends old and new
  • more time doing things that bring me joy and happiness
  • more intention with my time
Overall I achieved MORE in 2022. There were some areas that I could have done better such as more focused with less random scrolling and more connections with friends old and new.

Goals for 2022:

  • eat at least 3 servings of veggies a day
