 Weeknight French Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef from deli counter
  • 1 can beef consumme, condensed
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thin
  • bread of your choice, I used Artisan sourdough 
  • sliced provolone cheese

Directions:

  1. In a medium pot, bring the beef consumme to a boil. 
  2. In a skillet cook onion until translucent. 
  3. Add sliced beef and onion to beef. Simmer for a few mninutes.
  4. While beef is simmers toast bread under broiler or toaster oven, and melt the cheese on top of bread.
  5. Use thongs to place meat and onion on bread.
  6. Serve
  7. Enjoy!!!!
