Weeknight French Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef from deli counter
- 1 can beef consumme, condensed
- 1 medium onion, sliced thin
- bread of your choice, I used Artisan sourdough
- sliced provolone cheese
Directions:
- In a medium pot, bring the beef consumme to a boil.
- In a skillet cook onion until translucent.
- Add sliced beef and onion to beef. Simmer for a few mninutes.
- While beef is simmers toast bread under broiler or toaster oven, and melt the cheese on top of bread.
- Use thongs to place meat and onion on bread.
- Serve
- Enjoy!!!!
