Hey loves. I know we are all thinking it, how the heck is it already December. If I sneeze to hard it is going to be the new year already. New month means new intentions.
Lets jump in...
But first linking up with Jennifer over at Overflowing with Thankfulness for currently.
loving
Spending one on one time with Ella. Last weekend our church had a parents day out. Brian was working and Ella didn't want to stay with all little kids. Instead she got a mother daughter date and got Christmas shopping done.
gifting
All the things. This year was suppose to be a lighter Christmas but it got back to craziness like always.
wrapping
I only have to wrap Brian's gifts. Brian is a better gift wrapper and enjoys wrapping. He usually does this after the kids go to bed because she stays up a lot later than me.
hoping
I am hoping for a smooth, uneventful, peaceful, Christmas season and vacation.
attending this month
All the things, last night was Ella's choir concert, next week is her band concert. Brian's work Christmas dinner is also next week. I have two events at Austin's school the following week, and Ella has her semi annually hearing appointment. Our schedule is pretty full this month.

Oh yes, it seemed like any year I planned for it to be a lighter and easier Christmas it wasn't and then years like this one come along and I had no plans for it to be that way... but it is. I think it's just easier to make less of it when the kids are older and not nearly so caught up in everything themselves.
ReplyDeleteI love that idea of a parents day out at church! I really should remember that one...I know it would be a huge help and a blessing to several in our congregation!!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to do 1000 Hours Outside in 2024. Our family needs to get out more!!!
