Hey Friends. Summer is flying by. Its hard to believe that summer is already half over. I have some catching up to do.
Sunday July 7
Sunday morning church followed by donuts and checking out the progress on the pavilion they are building.
After church Brian did some more work with the excavator we rented. He dug out a small pond and got more rocks from our neighbors yards.
The kids and I made a quick trip to the library. Our books were due so we returned them and grabbed some more to read. I let them play for a little bit.
Then we headed off to Cedar Point. It started off rough. Austin's first ride he rode a roller coaster that he has rode numerous times and he lost his glasses. (they still have not be found). He was so upset. We tried to cheer him up by guying them hats to help with the sun, and going on different rides we normally don't ride.
I even rode rides with him that I normally don't ride. He got in a little better mood.
It was nice that it was just the four of us we got to have a relaxing day and do what our kids wanted to do. We wondered around and spent a little time at the beach too.
Monday July 8
Starting off my Monday by getting up and pressing play on the first day of a new program I am doing.
After a fun long weekend I spent the day playing catch up with odds and ends around the house and the kids relaxing.
Dinner out on the patio, leftover ribs my brother in law brought over from his cookout.
Getting work done on the patio while the kids played outside.
Mama deer and babies stopped by for their nightly feeding. We have been giving them veggie scraps.
Tuesday July 9
Starting my morning outside with my preworkout, morning me time, and Mama and her babies are back again.
A lone beautiful flower that the deer must have missed, it was gone the next morning.
Another morning workout done before anyone else was awake.
Austin has speech every Tuesday, and I had the girls I nanny for. They spend 30 minutes in the parking lot watching a movie and looking at look and find books.
Instacart grocery orders have been my savor this summer.
I put away groceries then the girls went outside. They swam for a little bit then were playing with a frisbee. One of the girls hit her sister in the face with a frisbee. Anna was a very good little mommy holding the ice pack to her face.
The first night of baseball play offs. To be eliminated you had to lose twice. Austin's team won the first game.
Wednesday July 10
Day 3 of waking up and getting my workout in. It has been a long time since I found the motivation in myself to make myself a priority and stay committed. I knew if I didn't get it done early it wouldn't get done.
We went to my parents house so they could watch my kids while I had an eyebrow appointment, doctor appointment, and ran to Sam's Club to buy what we needed for the kids birthday party. My dad was going through old pictures.
Look at my hair.
There is no denying that Anna gets her dark brown eyes from me.
My niece was also at my parents house. The kids started playing outside until it started raining, then they stole grandpas computer for a little bit, and destroyed the living room with toys, exactly what grandkids are supposed to do.
Speaking of doctors appointment, make sure you schedule your yearly exams.
Thursday July 11
Up early to decorate and blow up balloons. Guess what day it is.
Happy Birthday, Audrianna turned 5
Anna spent a few hours at Grandma's house having a playdate with her cousin.
Then it was off to game 2 for us of Austin's baseball playoffs. Austin's team ended up losing the game, which they kinda knew going into it because they were playing the best team in the league.
After baseball we went and got ice cream and watched trains for Anna's birthday.
Friday July 12
I didn't work out on Thursday because I didn't give myself enough time with decorating for Anna's birthday before she woke up. I was up and ready on Friday to get it done.
I nannied for a few hours in the morning. Then we went and picked up Ella. She had been at her dads for a little less than two weeks. We were all happy for her to be home. It was also shark week and Ella prepared a Shark Week trivia.
I spent most of the day cleaning, doing laundry, and party prepping.
Then it was another night of baseball. If we won the first game, we would play a second game that night. If we won that game we would have a game the next day at 1030, if won another game at 1230 and if won again championship game was at 230. So we could have had a double header on Friday and triple on Saturday if they kept winning. The kids are only going in 2nd and 3rd grade. They were over it by Friday which was game 3. We ended up losing the first game because they were not mentally there and they were all ok with that. They made it this far in the playoffs!!!!
Saturday July 13
It's birthday party day. The kids got to open their big gift which is a water slide.
Since we had no baseball we had a relaxing morning. We visited this cute little local coffee shop that I kept wanting to go to. It is on the far side of town and not where we go very often. It is small and adorable inside and carries a lot of other local items.
The coffee was really good too and it is cheaper than Starbucks, now only if it had a drive thru.
After coffee we walked around a farmers market.
Then stopped by Trader Joes to stock up on staples and some wine.
I noticed the pile of shoes that Anna had in the car. She has the habit of taking off her shoes and leaving them in the car. She had 5 pairs of shoes. The joke is she is going to be opposite of me and have enough shoes compared to I have gone on vacation and forgot shoes at home.
More birthday party prep. Ella is something else. she has a balloon under her shirt while she decorated.
The party was a lot of fun. The kids all got along and loved the water slide. I did make rules only going down the slide, and one kid at the top at a time.
We also did some water balloons.
My mom made the kids cakes again this year. Anna picked out an Ariel.
Austin picked out a video game themed cake.
It was a fun party. I love that the girls make themselves at home at our neighbors backyard chasing the sun to dry off. Our neighbors are wonderful and don't mind.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO
