Hey friends. I am doing a double post today. Be sure to check out Let's Look how we unwind during the holidays and Let's have some hodge podge fun. I linked up with Joyce over at From This Side of the Pond for Wednesday Hodge podge.
I would love a Christmas elf to sneak in my house and finish decorating. Brian and the kids have done a lot, but there is still stuff that I want to do but haven't been physically able to do yet. Thankfully today I am starting to move around better, but don't want to push it. Hopefully this weekend I will get it done.
2. What's your biggest challenge during the holidays?
This year my challenge is fomo (fear of missing out). I love that Brian is getting to have fun with our kids and making memories. I'm sad that I am stuck on the couch in pain and unable to help with the decorating or having the fun.
3. Are you a cookie baker this time of year? If your year had to be summed up in the shape of a cookie cutter what shape would it be?
I am a cookie baker. This year the plan is to only make one kind of cookie a week, and maybe two the week of Christmas. That way we won't be overwhelmed with so many cookies, all of which I will eat.
Shape of a cookie cutter- snowflake- this year has been unique compared to other years.
4. Santa likes milk with his cookies. Do you like milk? What kind of milk is on tap in your house? (whole, 2%, skim, almond, oat, etc). What's the last thing you made that called for milk?
I do not drink milk. If I personally have milk it will be coconut milk and in a shake or hot chocolate. We do have either whole milk of 2% for everyone else in the house.
5. Share one favorite line from a Christmas carol or holiday tune?
Christmas is here bringing good cheer (Carol of the bells)
6. Insert your own random thought here.
The holidays are my favorite time of the year of making memories, sharing traditions, seeing the smiling faces on my kids....
So sorry you're down for the count...is it your back? I think I saw that on a previous post, and if so take good care and don't push it. Back pain is some of the worst! I'm glad your hubs is picking up the slack and getting out to do things with the kids. Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteYes it is my back. Thank you.
