Hey loves. Happy September. Summer is over, it has been feeling like fall and kids are back in school. This summer I took a step back from making intentions. goals, or a to do list. I really embraced being home and present with my kids. It is the first summer that I have worked out of the house in almost 10 years. Even with working I was intentional with my time and got things done that needed to get done. Other things I slacked on like the inventory of our deep freezer, but that is a whole other story. I am ready to be more productive on my days off and get things done.

I am sharing a recap of my goals for 2025 including my word of the year and my intentions for this month.
Word of the Year
Simplify
I am really going to focus on simplifies the rest of 2025.
So far for 2025
- Declutter- I have made piles of things to get rid of and thrown away some.
- Routines- Even though we are just getting into back to school routines again, I have simplified our routines that they are not overly crazy and predictable.
- Commitments- I have been saying no to more things I don't want to do or just feel obligated to do.
- Work- Now that I am working out of the house when I am working from home either on my blog and/or real estate marketing I stay focused more based on time restrictions.
September Goals 2025
Personal:
- Workout 5x a week
- Hit 10,000 steps 5x a week
- Mindset morning 5x a week
- Pack work lunches
- Read 8 books
- Attend 4 PTA meetings (council, elementary, middle school, and
- Dresstember- wear more dresses to work
- Dye my hair
- Bloodwork
- Annual doctor's appointment
- First mammogram
Relationship/Motherhood/Family:
- Date night with Brian
- Take Ella shopping
- Nightly reading routine with kids including kids devotional and 100 Days to Brave for Kids
- Come up with Fall bucket list
- Start new gymnastics for Anna
- Start fall soccer for Anna
- Continue Fall baseball for Austin
- Look into fencing for Ella
Household:
- Throw away 5 things a day
- Sell 5 things a week
- Donate 10 things a week
- Scrub upstairs carpet
- Decorate for Halloween
- Inventory deep freezer
Finances:
- Low spend- be mindful of purchases
- Put $100 in savings
- Pay off 1 credit card
Bake:
- Sourdough bagels
- Apple something
- Breakfast cookies
- Breakfast freezer burritos
- Record and Post 4 Youtube videos
- Start back up my newsletter
- Share Disney vacation recap
- Post 20x on Instagram
- Get back to posting on my blog 5 days a week
