Weigh In Wednesday December 2024

Hey friends. I linking up with Joanne  Slices of Life for Weigh In Wednesday. It has been a rough start to the month lets dive in.

How the Month is going:
I ended November getting back into a good routine. I purchased 14 free trial of the Ladies Edge worked out with them on Thanksgiving. Then on Black Friday I messed up my previously injured back. It has taken me until yesterday, so a little over two weeks to be feeling better. I did a modified low weight shoulder workout just to get my body moving. Slowly I

What I am Doing:

The Ladies Edge. I started off 2024 doing the Ladies Edge workouts, then got in my own head and stopped doing them. I love the format and 23 minute workouts where you really feel like you worked out. Also $37 a month is very realistic. Right now they are are having a birthday special where you can try for 14 days free.

What I Have Been Eating:

I need to switch up my breakfasts. I have been eating eggs or some sort, either with avocado toast, or as a sandwich on a bagel or English muffin with turkey or chicken sausage. I want/ need something with more protein. Any suggestions?

For snack some days I have been mixing my protein powder with two oatmeal packets. (yes i know the packets are not the best for you, I bought them a while ago and I am trying to use them up.) Then topping with fruit and nuts. Its great for days when I don't want to make a shake because I am too cold.

Plans for the New Year

Getting fully back into working out with the Ladies Edge, 23 minutes a day 5 days a week.
More protein.
Eat what we have on hand. I want to do a pantry and freezer purge. Use up what we have on hand. Our freezer is overflowing. I may need to be a little creative with this.
I am hoping to get a walking pad for Christmas so I can also focus on getting 10,000 steps in everyday, I am currently no where close to that. If I don't get one I may need to become adventurous and get outside in the cold.

Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,

  1. Oh it is so hard to workout when you're injured! I always feel like that is such a setback (and one I can rarely do anything about!).
