Hey loves. Happy Monday on a Tuesday and Happy March. How was your weekend? We had a busy weekend. I spent some time prepping for the week ahead with some new changes and not knowing exactly what to expect. I start a new job yesterday working at our church in the as the office administrator. We are still figuring out all the details but I am excited for a new adventure.
I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday. Let's see what we did this weekend.
Friday
Anna and Austin both had different themed day at school. Austin's class earned a a pajama and bring a stuffed animal day. Anna's class was having a Royal tea party. They could dress like a prince or princess. Anna picked to dress like Cinderella.
The start of my busy weekend in the kitchen. I had two loaves of bread for customers, fed my starter for waffles to restock our freezer, fed started for my own loaf of bread, and made pizza crust for dinner.
Last day of month means getting organized for the month ahead. I updated our calendars- dry erase, paper, and Google calendar.
Dinner is served. The kids had plan cheese pizza. Brian had pepperoni and banana pepper. I had vegan cheese with banana pepper.
After dinner we went to our neighbors to hang out for a little bit. The kids played as the adults relaxed and talked.
Saturday
Early morning basketball game at 9am. I say early because when Brian asked the team who had breakfast, less than half of them had eaten. If that gives you a hint of how the game went, the kids were dragging and not motivated.
Don't we all lay on the ground, draw, and watch basketball. She was far enough back and within my reach to stop a ball if it went flying.

Austin had a good game even though they didn't win.
After basketball we went home and I started tackling my to do list while Brian headed to show a few houses. I folded and put away all the laundry that I washed on Friday, started washing bed sheets, washed dishes, then cleaned the dishwasher, then more dishes, cleaned the coffee pot, made a loaf of bread for us, baked banana mini muffins and waffles the restock the freezer.
Austin got a dart board for Christmas that is magnetic. The kids play with it all the time. Ella has been playing darts in random places that are magnetic, like a screw on the attic door and an old alarm box that's metal. Anna decided to one up her and put all the magnets on her doorknob.
Anna and Austin had a sleepover at Grandma's.
While Brian and I had a double date with his best friend and wife. We started at one place for dinner (I forgot the name of it but it was good) Then went to another place for drinks. It is Tiki Bar themed and very cute.
They had all the cute drinks and we also got some tacos, because I always say yes to tacos even though we had already eaten dinner.
Sunday
You can get ready for church so much quicker when you are not arguing with kids to wear their church clothes and brush their hair. Brian and I got ready for church then stopped by Panera for a quick breakfast. A 4 cheese souffle sounded so good, and tasted so good, but then I had a stomach ache from the cheese. (I will never learn)
After breakfast we had time to swing by the grocery store to grab chicken then pick up the kids to go to church.
Anna's hair was not brushed and she did not like Grandma's brush so I comprised with a ponytail. She also had brought her sisters Disney Little Mermaid mouse ears from Disney World. She insisted on wearing them and everyone loved them.
Austin had his first communion class after church while Anna went to Sunday School.
After church Brian went to work again, I was back in the kitchen, burnt croutons, baked chicken, attempted salad dressing, and also gave the kids showers (not in the kitchen).
We spent the evening at the neighbors for stir fry on the Blackstone. The girls had a dance party, the boys played cops and robbers, and the parents relaxed.
Our neighbors also got a new puppy that was the highlight.
Now we all have puppy fever, only if Brian was allergic.
We were home by 730, the kids read to each other which was a first. Then I read them their nightly devotional and they headed to bed. I did a few things around the house to prepare for the week ahead and had an early bedtime but a rough night sleep.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO
