Hello Monday on a Tuesday

Hey loves. Happy Tuesday. How is your week starting off? I had a rough start to my Monday, but it ended up being a gorgeous day. Anna wanted to be outside playing with her friends and riding her bike, which I don't blame her. That also means I got outside and got fresh air too. We ended up at the playground for a while too and Anna showed me she can swing by herself and I no longer need to push her. This is a huge win for more time at the playground.

I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday. Let's see what we did this weekend.

Friday

Friday was a day of all the things catching up. I didn't drive Anna to school, her choice, and I didn't think I needed to go grocery shopping. (that changed) I started off in the kitchen making sourdough for myself and a customer.

Then I get ready for the day and recorded some videos for YouTube and social media. My monthly personalized subscription to the wellness box came, I recorded a quick video that you can check out here

All the meal planning and getting organized for the week. This is where I determined, sure the grocery list originally only had 3 things that weren't important (ranch, ketchup, and onions) but I cleaned out the fridge and found more that we needed for the week ahead with dinners and lunches and get together's. While I was at it I also recorded a Let's Meal Plan video.  With all the thoughts and ramblings that go into it.

I also made granola, strawberry jam, and granola bars.

I walked past the living room window and see Frank the squirrel sitting there so cute waiting for me to feed him peanuts. Now only if he didn't run away as soon as I opened the door.

The rest of the afternoon was low key. We ordered a fish fry from a restaurant and just relaxed. The kids played some Roblox and got along pretty well.

Saturday

Austin had his first baseball practice of the year. At his age they have practice 2 days a week for 2 hours. Saturday morning was a bit chilly and both Brian and Austin came home so muddy.

I spent the morning cleaning up the house, the cleaning I didn't do the day before. Never ending dishes and sweeping incase we have company and laundry.

I eventually motivated myself to go downstairs and workout for 23 minutes.

I came upstairs to see Anna had pulled out her mats and was working out with kids youtube videos.

I ran to the grocery store and bought what we needed which ended up being a full list. I don't recommend going on a Saturday at 130 in a store that was just renovated a few days before and everything is in a different spot. I got it done though.

My girlfriend had an athletic boosters fundraiser to go to that was derby themed. She is all for a theme and went all out with a lemon dress and a big hat. She wanted her hair down in a side chignon so she stopped over for me to do real quick. I wish I would have taken a picture.

The rest of the evening our one neighbor friends came over for dinner and brought both their dogs. We had planned to talk more about Disney and potentially make dinner reservations, then determined Disney changed their plans to 60 days out not 180 days out (that we precovid but we haven't stayed on property in forever)

The dogs and kids did good. The dog above, Josie had acl tear surgery and isn't allowed to do much for 8 weeks. She couldn't get comfy so we gave her a pillow and blanket and she finally laid down.

Sunday

It was Palm Sunday at Church and it was busy and everything was backwards. Instead of dancing at the end of the service you dance at the beginning. Communion was also in the beginning and it confused Austin he was like we are done already? No Bud everything is backwards today.

We came home and did some cleaning (never ending) and the kids and I build our Resurrection Garden.

They had fun doing it. I love that when Anna was placing the rock over the cave, she was like we talked about this in Sunday School today. She is just a sponge absorbing it all.

We spend the afternoon at our neighbors house for a little Master's party. We really don't need a reason to get together but they always love a theme.
