Friday Favorites 12.5.2025

Hey loves. It's Friday. I have to keep telling myself it is Friday. Between having 4 days off last week, then my kids went Monday had a snow day Tuesday, I went into work on Wednesday when I normally don't, I am so confused on what day it is.

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

Anna helped decorate the Christmas tree. She then decided that the tree skirt was her own personal tutu. I am surprised it fit around her, but she is a little peanut.

~ TWO ~

In the last week we have gotten about 6 inches of snow in total. (it has melted some and then snowed more) These two cuties have played outside a good 5+ hours. I joke they have played outside more by their choice in the cold and snow compared to me forcing them outside when it is nice.

~ THREE ~

The biggest game of the year. Ohio State Football playing the state up north, Xichigan. They had beat us the last 5 years this year we rightfully and deservingly won.

~ FOUR ~

Anna and Austin had a birthday party for our neighbor friend at a karate studio. They did some different karate moves and kept it fun. They ended with a nerf war.

Anna and Austin both had fun, but said they didn't want to sign up for karate.

~ FIVE ~

I grabbed a tea advent calendar from Aldi a few weeks ago. I have tried 2 of 4 teas and my favorite is this Manuka Honey Chamomile Herbal Tea that was also decaf. On the back of the box it lists all the different teas, what's in them, and if they have caffeine or are decaf. I limit my caffeine after 2pm so I have to wait to try some of them.

~ SIX ~

Advent started!!! Each morning my kids get a little piece of chocolate. This year Anna and Austin get a new little squishy and Ella gets brick building flower set (like Lego but off brand) At night they pick a Disney book from our Disney advent calendar that is over 8 years old, a random Christmas book from our huge collection, and we read the daily devotional from Discovering Christmas. Anna is excited for all the reading.

One of my favorite part of the Christmas season is quiet morning with the twinkle of the tree lights.

~ EIGHT ~

We had a snow day. Well the kids school was closed and I opted to not go into work that day either. The kids played outside while I stayed warm inside and watched 3 Hallmark/GAC Christmas movies.
