Hey loves. Happy Wednesday. We are halfway through the week, I have said it was the wrong day multiple times already this week. My kids had their last day of school yesterday. We are finally on summer break. Lets jump into last weekend's recap. I have so much to share in the next few weeks.
I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday.
Friday
Slept in because Ella was on her Washington DC trip. Got Anna and Austin off on the bus, then Brian and I headed to drop off the camper.
It had been sitting in our driveway for way over 48 hours (oops) and we didn't get any complaints but we knew we were pushing out luck. Brian had a friend who had a storage unit who said we could park it there for a few days. (We had to have it back to our place on Tuesday for someone to come look at the water damage)
After dropping off the camper Brian and I went to Fresh Thyme to look at the meat then I dropped him off at home. I headed back out to Trader Joes, Costco, Aldi and I had an eyebrow appointment.
When I got home first up was putting groceries away and washing the fruits and veggies.
After school my parents came over to watch Anna and Austin. They spoiled them (like grandparents should). They got McDonalds for dinner, ate at a park, played at the playground, went and walked the beach (we live near Lake Erie), and got ice cream on their way home.
Brian and I went to a wine and bourbon tasting with the men's and women's group at our church. We got home by 9, then I had to turn around and go get Ella from her DC trip. They had been gone for 3 days. She came back in a good mood and was so chatty.
Brian got out our outdoor tv and was watching the baseball game with the neighbor and enjoying the evening. Saturday
Anna had softball pictures at 9am. Since they are composite photos Brian and Austin were also able to take their baseball photos at the same time. (otherwise Austin's photo time was Sunday at 4pm)
I had ordered Anna a new bike tire since hers popped. I didn't realize she needed a new tube also. I ran up to Walmart and bought her a new tube. Turns out she didn't need the fire just the tube. I got it replaced and she was off and riding again.
Austins' bike tire is also broke, but he is riding Ella's old bike. He needs a new tire and tube. (kid likes making skid marks on the sidewalk and there is no tread left on his tires.)
Austin had a baseball game at 6. On the other team was one of Anna's friends brother so she had someone to play with during the game. They spent most of the time at the playground.
On the way home were these beautiful pink clouds. Anna said they were her favorite.
Sunday
Brian had to leave early to help set up at church. He came home in between and we made breakfast then he headed back up.
My kids and I went up for the service. Anna had fun dancing. Followed by donuts and back home.
Ella texted me towards the end of church that she found the old purple hair color and wanted purple hair for the last day of school. We ended up going to the store to buy a new bottle then I colored her ends.
It was such a gorgeous day. Anna stole my chair to sun bathe, while I pulled weeds.
I took some breaks for read and get some sun as well.
We ended the evening at our neighbors for steaks on the grill. The boys played a little baseball, while the girls were doing nails and playing Barbies.
We ended the night with a fire, relaxing and staying up to late because it was still a school night. Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO
