Hey loves. It's Friday. Without jinxing myself I feel like I am getting into a flow finally. My kids however are on no sort of schedule, with too much electronics due to the heat, and now we have work being done to the house so are trying to keep them from getting in their way. I am working on a chore list for them to do with some reading, "homework" and activities.
It has been a few weeks since I shared a Friday Favorites so these are from the past few weeks.
~ ONE ~
My birthday is the end of June. Brian and I had a date night, unfortunately it was the calm before the storm... or heat wave. It was hazy windy and chilly that you didn't really want to be outside. We had reservations at lake front restaurant to sit outside in Catawba but ended up sitting inside.
The whole restaurant is organic and no gmo's. Their presentation was delightful.
Brian and I did venture across the street to the outdoor seating area to check out the views, but only lasted a few minutes.
Next stop one of my favorite places, the Orchard. I got this sparkling 4th of July drink, I wasn't a big fan.
One of the Orchards bar's turns into a "pop up bar" with the different holidays. Here is it decorated for the 4th of July
Let's next forget the bar is called the Coop because you are sitting by the chicken coop.

Anna and Austin had a sleepover at Memaws. They wanted to sleep in the living and had planned on sleeping on the couches. Then Anna needed her brother so they put a bunch of blankets down and slept on the floor.
~ THREE ~
3rd year participating in the TJ Carrie Heart Walk. We have always done the 1 mile walk, maybe one day we will do the actual 5k.
~ FOUR ~
Taylor Swift Tribute band concert.
It was a lot of fun. The at the Lake Erie Crushers minor league baseball stadium. I got us actual seats not knowing what to expect. I should have gotten the field seats so the girls could run around, but then Anna wouldn't have been able to see anything.
~ FIVE ~
I found these at Lowe's a few weeks ago. It said 3 colors hibiscus.
Somehow I got 4 colors and the red one blooms differently but they are beautiful.
~ SIX ~
A trip to Cedar Point with all the Icee's.
The beach at Cedar Point. They were told to just get their feet wet. A few kids had to go home soaked aka the girls. Thankfully Anna had a change of clothes with us.
~ SEVEN ~
A small birthday celebration for me with my kids.
~ EIGHT ~
We had a week of high heat with temps about 100. The pool and water slide were pulled out and used a lot.
~ NINE ~
Austin's team maybe called "We Hit Them Further" (Further is the company sponsor) but they renamed themselves the Pickles. This was our last play off game and we are going to the championship. The excitement these boys have who thought they would never ever get this far, who never have won a championship before. They are the biggest supporters of each other, working as a team, rooting each other out on... They are really a great group of boys.
~ TEN ~
I see you
do you see me
OH twins
You can't see me.
The deer have been more active this past week. We had only one baby now there are 4 or 5 that we have seen all together.
~ ELEVEN ~
Independence Day parade.
with some Christmas in July
We opted to not go into the chaos of the park to watch fireworks and watched from a parking lot and had the best view.
~ TWELVE ~
Anna's baseball season has come to an end. She had fun and got better as the season progressed. I will say if she would have stayed in baseball instead of going to softball the structure and push for an actual game is a lot different. In baseball Anna would have been in coach pitch playing an actual game with only so many pitches, and outs and runs. In softball Anna until 3rd grade there are no real outs, not score keeping, no pitch limits etc. It will be a big change in two years.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO
