New Year and Exciting News

Happy Monday and Happy New Year!!!!! It's my first post for 2019, and really my first post in over a month. Sometimes life just happens and you have an unplanned blogging break. ( I have actually had an unplanned break from the real world too). I somewhat enjoyed my break but I am ready to get back into the blogging world, I missed it.

I am so excited to share we are expecting Baby #3. We announced to family on Brian's birthday (December 8th) and to social media on Christmas Eve. We had originally planned on waiting until Christmas to tell everyone but some complications including an emergency room visit changed our original plans.

With both my previous pregnancies I have hyperemesis gravidarum. I was in the hospital 11 times with Aubriella, and 13 times with Austin. So far this pregnancy I have only been in the hospital once. I am on meds like clock work to hopefully prevent such a dramatic pregnancy again. They seem to be doing the job the last few days and I am hoping things will really start looking up.

So far this pregnancy I have been extremely tired, nauseous, and unmotivated. (As well as getting sick without the meds). I don't know how I managed to work two jobs both my previous pregnancies. There are days were I can barely take care of myself at home let alone thing about leaving the house and going to work. I am thankful my kids are pretty self-sufficient, Brian has been able to work from home a lot, and Austin is perfectly happy eating a "mommy's pregnant diet" and playing on the couch with me. I am not that happy glowing pregnant girl from the movies.

We had our first ob visit that day after Christmas and got to see our little peanut, and yes there is only one. Baby is looking good. We go back at the end of the month.

How Far Along: 11 weeks and 1 day

Baby Size: Poker Chip

Weight Gain/Loss:  Lost 4 pounds since before was pregnant

Cravings/Aversions: Bagels with Cream Cheese, Don't want anything to seasoned

Symptoms: Nauseous, breast tenderness, constipation, frequent urination, smell sensitivity, cramping,

Sleep: What sleep? I toss and turn, my body pillow is my best friend. Some nights I sleep great, most nights 12 hours isn't enough

Movement: Nothing yet

Clothing: Still wearing normal clothes

Miss Anything: I miss sushi and lunch meat. You would think I ate it all the time but I didn't. Knowing I shouldn't have it makes me want it.

Favorite Thing of the Week: Austin coming up to me, lifting my shirt and looking in my belly button at the baby.

Getting Excited About: Getting out of my first trimester and hopefully getting more energy.

Due Date: July 28th

Random: July 28th was Austin's due date, but he decided to make his appearance unmedicated on July 15.
