I am back at it and trying to take some time for me and getting so reading in everyday. I enjoy a good book and taking that little bit of time for myself but it hasn't been happening like I would like. By the time I sit down at night to read, I fall asleep with the book in my hand and forgot everything I read the next day. I need to find a better time or routine that works for me in the current stage we are in.

Not one of my favorite Sylvia Day books. A typical love instant love story thrown in with grief and trust issues. The story line did a complete 180 at the end that had me so confused until I sat there and replayed the book in my head.

This was my first time reading a book in the Baumgarners series. I am happy you don't have to read the whole series for the books to make sense. This book was very X-rated, steamy, detailed, erotica, pure sex book. Veronica, the babysitter  gets involved with married couple she works for. They teach her about her body and sexual ways. Story line and characters are well developed. However the ending leaves you with a lot of unanswered questions.

A Simplified Life book is shares "strategies, systems, and methods for permanently clearing the clutter, organizing your priorities, and living intentionally in 10 key areas—from your home and meal planning, to style and finances, parenting, faith life, and more." (quote from amazon) Not all of Emily's systems will work in my household but it gave me a lot of ideas and inspiration to get started on minimizing, decluttering, and cleaning our house and lives.

  5. When I read a nonfiction book like Emily's, I go into it thinking that I'll take one or two things away, rather than anticipating being able to apply everything to my life.
