Friday Favorites

Happy Friday. It has been a very emotional stressful week. With everything going on in the world, Brian being a police officer in a local city and getting called in for a protest (thankfully it stayed peaceful after everything that happened in Cleveland over the weekend), Black Out Tuesday was a great learning experience. (I read a lot, talked with the kids about whats going on, and requested some books from the library)

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

Aubriella has been asking to make a surprise with chalk on the sidewalk. Every time she has asked it is suppose to rain the next day or she goes outside and it is to cold. We finally had a perfect day and a few days after of gorgeous weather. She did it all herself with painters tape. She was so proud of it she made me send the picture to everyone.

I got a much needed relaxing end of the weekend bath with bubbles, a lavender candle, a new book, and a class of wine. Bonus no one bothered me.

Austin started Summer Camp this week. He goes two days a week for 3 hours a day. So far he is loving it. We are hoping this helps with his speech because it has been declining again since we haven't had speech therapy in a few months.

~ FOUR ~

Just swinging into summer as a happy baby. We all need to just enjoy the little things: sunshine, happy baby, being outside, and some fun.

~ FIVE ~

Another year getting lots of use out of this little pool. The kids would like a bigger pool but we don't have a fence, none of our neighbors have a fence and we would like to move if not this year then next. Any pool is better than no pool.

Ella is officially a 3rd grader. I am not ready for that.

  1. Glad the protest stayed peaceful for him! Your daughter's chalk art is beautiful! I hope camp helps with your son's speach; it's wonderful that he enjoys going too.
